  1. The accompanying System 7.0 Scrapbook File contains 55 colored 
  2. icons that may be used or modified to make your files, utilities, etc. 
  3. more colorful.  To modify your black and white icons, follow these 
  4. simple steps:

  6. 1. Remove the present Scrapbook file from the System Folder and 
  7. hide it     somewhere if it contains items you wish to keep.  
  8. 2. Put the new Scrapbook File downloaded with these notes into the 
  9. System     Folder.
  10. 3. Open the Scrapbook File with the Scrapbook icon under the Apple.
  11. 4. Select a colored icon and copy it from the Scrapbook File (use 
  12.     Command + C).
  13. 5. Move to the Desktop area and locate the icon you wish to modify.
  14. 6. Click ONCE ONLY to open the "Get INFO" window.
  15. 7. Click ONCE ONLY on the miniature icon in the "Get INFO" and a 
  16. square will     be drawn around the icon.
  17. 8. Paste the new colored icon (by using the Command + V).
  18. 9. After a few seconds the new colored icon will become visible both 
  19. in the     GET INFO window and on the Desktop application, file, etc.
